Job summary

ARCH in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Associate Architect to lead design on complex projects, including health, education, sports, and community facilities. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, guide integrated solutions, ensure quality and compliance, and collaborate with clients and consultants.

You will mentor junior staff, help drive practice-wide design standards, and contribute to business development while strengthening ARCH’s reputation for innovation and excellence.

Qualifications

• Registered Architect in Victoria.
• Full unrestricted working rights in Australia.
• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design with experience delivering complex health, education, sports or community projects in Australia.
• Experience with integration of design solutions across disciplines, including coordination with engineering, interiors, and specialist consultants.
• Proven project management skills including planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Understanding of software development and digital tools relevant to architecture (e.g., Revit, dRofus, and collaboration platforms) and ability to work with technical teams on integrated solutions.
• Accredited masters level degree in Architecture recognised by AACA in Australia.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, mentor colleagues, and communicate clearly with clients and project partners.
• Knowledge of Australian building codes, regulations, and standards, particularly for healthcare, education, or public facilities.
• Experience in managing multiple concurrent projects and delivering high-quality outcomes within agreed timeframes.
• Commitment to inclusive, collaborative working practices and continuous professional development.
