You will collaborate with Directors on networking, business development and work-winning, and contribute to expanding the healthcare and education footprint across NSW while benefiting from flexible work arrangements.
This established, design-led architectural practice has a strong reputation across Australia for delivering projects that have a genuine impact on the communities they serve. The Sydney studio works across major public-sector sectors, with strength in healthcare, education, community and social infrastructure. The practice is collaborative and people-focused, with a strong emphasis on creating an environment where talented architects can develop their careers without sacrificing life outside of work. The business is also a B Corp and equal opportunity employer, with a clear focus on diversity, inclusion and creating positive social impact through its work.
This is an opportunity for a Senior Architect with strong NSW healthcare and/or education experience to take a genuine step towards Associate level. You will take responsibility for pushing the delivery of public-sector projects, leading project teams and working closely with senior leadership. The longer-term opportunity is particularly exciting. The successful person will help grow a team from its current size to circa 10 people over the next couple of years, while playing an active role in developing the practice's healthcare and education presence across NSW. You will also work closely with Directors on networking, business development and work-winning, giving you exposure to the commercial and strategic side of running a successful architectural practice.
This is a studio where people genuinely matter. The environment is social and supportive, with senior leadership that remains accessible to the wider team. There is a strong emphasis on work/life balance rather than simply working longer hours, alongside opportunities to learn from experienced designers and project leaders. Interestingly, the practice has also seen people who have previously left return to the business, something that says a lot about the relationships and culture that have been built internally. The practice's public employee feedback also highlights its friendly, supportive people and positive culture, while its own careers material emphasises diversity, inclusion and professional development.
