Job summary

Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) invites applications for an Asset Maintenance Project Lead at the Australian Centre for Disease Preparedness in Geelong. You will lead planning, procurement and delivery of asset replacement, renewal and major maintenance across the ACDP portfolio, focusing on high-risk, critical and compliance-sensitive assets.

You will collaborate with researchers, internal teams and regulators to strengthen asset governance, risk management

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading asset programs (capital, renewal, major maintenance).
• Strong governance, risk, safety framework experience.
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and embed controls across procurement and delivery.
• Proven planning, prioritisation and delivery of concurrent programs.
• Leadership of multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead asset replacement, renewal and maintenance projects, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Plan and prioritise asset renewal to support sustainability and lifecycle performance.
• Develop project scopes, procurement docs and delivery strategies.
• Ensure compliance with governance controls and HSE standards across assets.
• Manage risks, budgets, schedules and stakeholder engagement for successful outcomes.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and service providers; promote continuous improvement.
• Participate in Duty On-call Engineer rostering with relevant experience.
