Job summary

Downer is seeking a Senior Manager - Assets to lead strategic asset management across a complex Public-Private Partnership contract in the Health and Education sector. You will oversee asset registers, lifecycle planning and performance analytics to deliver high-quality outcomes for essential services.

Reporting to the Facilities Director, you will build strong relationships with government representatives, project partners and suppliers while ensuring compliance with ISO 55000 principles, NCC

Qualifications

• Background in asset management planning and delivery.
• Experience as Asset Manager or Facilities Manager.
• Knowledge of ISO 55000 principles.
• Knowledge of building regulations, NCC and Australian Standards.
• Strong analytical, financial, project and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead asset management planning and asset register integrity.
• Develop sustainable lifecycle replacement strategies and optimise maintenance and capital investment decisions.
• Ensure preventative maintenance and asset performance meet obligations.
• Provide evidence-based recommendations on energy efficiency, infrastructure reliability and site performance.
• Build relationships with government representatives, hospital operator, partners, suppliers and subcontractors.
