Job summary

Downer in Sydney seeks a Facilities, Services and Asset Management Supervisor to lead the facilities maintenance team at Auburn Maintenance Centre, driving reliability and asset improvement through data-driven leadership.

You will manage a small technical team, coordinate contractors, and deliver projects within governance, with exposure to ISO 55001 and end-to-end asset management. This role blends office leadership with stakeholder engagement across customers, suppliers and OEMs.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification or engineering degree.
• Experience in facilities, industrial maintenance or asset management.
• Leadership of technical teams and contractors in safety-critical environments.
• Experience with maintenance management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the facilities maintenance team and specialist contractors, creating clear priorities and safe, high-quality delivery.
• Use asset and maintenance data to identify recurring failures and drive improvements.
• Plan maintenance and project activities around live operations with governance.
• Build relationships with operational leaders, customers, suppliers and OEMs.
• Scope, justify and deliver asset improvement projects from concept to completion.
