Job summary

YMCA Victoria (the Y) is hiring a Senior Operations Centre Coordinator to lead four seasonal pool sites in Mount Alexander Shire. You will recruit, onboard and develop teams, oversee rostering and timesheets, and ensure operations meet contractual and quality standards while maintaining Health & Safety, risk and environmental practices.

The role oversees facility maintenance, asset management, and contractor relationships, with a focus on budget control and scalable hires.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years leadership experience in aquatic facility operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead diverse teams.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities with prioritisation skills.
• Solid understanding of risk management and safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment and onboarding for four pool sites.
• Manage rostering and timesheets for multiple teams.
• Ensure daily operations align with contractual requirements and quality standards.
• Oversee Health & Safety, Risk and Environment with support from the Operations Team Leader.
• Manage facility maintenance, asset management and contractor relationships.
• Develop and optimise facility hire opportunities and manage budgets/reports.
