The YMCA Victoria is seeking a Senior Operations Centre Coordinator for Mount Alexander Shire. You will lead contract operations and teams across four seasonal pools in Castlemaine, Harcourt, Maldon and Newstead, ensuring safety, quality and performance across the centres.

You will oversee recruitment, onboarding, rostering, training and timesheets, and manage health & safety, risk, asset maintenance and contractor relationships.

Responsabilités

• Lead contract operations and teams across four Mount Alexander seasonal pools (Castlemaine, Harcourt, Maldon, Newstead).
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and staff training; rostering and timesheets.
• Ensure daily operations meet contractual requirements, quality systems and industry guidelines.
• Manage Health & Safety, Risk and Environment with support from the Operations Team Leader.
• Oversee facility maintenance, asset management, contractor relations, and reporting.
• Develop and optimise facility hire opportunities and manage budgets.

About the Centre

There are four Council-owned outdoor swimming pools in Mount Alexander Shire, located in Castlemaine, Harcourt, Maldon and Newstead. We are looking for pool lifeguards across all these four sites!

About the role

As a Senior Operations Centre Coordinator at Mount Alexander shire, you will be a key leader and manage the contract operations and teams across the four Mount Alexander Seasonal Pools. You will oversee recruitment and onboarding for your team and support with employee training and development in addition to rostering and timesheets. You will ensure the daily operations of the centre are in line with contractual requirements, quality systems and industry guidelines. You will manage Health & Safety, Risk and Environment with the support of the Operations Team Leader. You will oversee all facility maintenance and strategic asset management including contractor relationships. You will develop and optimize facility hire opportunities and manage all associated budgets and reporting.

This is a full-time fixed term position with an hourly rate of $40.07 + super.

About you

• Ideally 1-2 years leadership experience in aquatic facility operations.
• Your demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills enable you to inspire and engage our various teams.
• You possess strong organisational and multitasking abilities, allowing you to effectively manage multiple responsibilities and prioritise tasks.
• You will have a comprehensive understanding of risk management practices and safety management systems
