Job summary

NSW Department of Customer Service in Sydney CBD NSW is seeking a skilled Appian Developer to design, build, and support digital services for LSC schemes. You will translate business requirements into scalable Appian solutions and collaborate with architects, analysts, testers, and vendors.

The role requires hands-on Appian expertise, experience with API integrations, and a focus on secure, maintainable systems within an Agile delivery environment. Hybrid and flexible working conditions apply.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Appian delivery experience, including SAIL, process modelling, records, reports, expression rules, integrations, and application packaging.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and support Appian applications that deliver reliable, secure, and scalable digital services for LSC schemes.
• Develop and enhance Appian components including SAIL interfaces, process models, records, reports, expression rules, integrations, and sites.
• Translate business requirements and process designs into Appian solutions that are maintainable, performant, and aligned to platform best practice.
• Work with architects, analysts, testers, vendors, and product teams to support system transitions, integration-led delivery, and continuous improvement.
• Support Appian integrations with enterprise platforms and third-party services using APIs, data stores, secure credentials, and established integration patterns.
• Contribute to release planning, deployment activities, defect resolution, production support, and operational handover across Appian environments.
• Provide technical guidance, code review input, and practical support to uplift Appian development standards across the team.
