Job summary

Infosys in Sydney seeks a highly skilled Appian Designer with 5 years of Appian design and development experience implementing BPM solutions.

You will design and optimize Appian applications, integrate with external systems via APIs, collaborate with analysts, and ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability.

The role includes CI/CD adoption, cloud administration, and a bachelor’s or master’s in CS/IT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in Appian design and development.
• Strong knowledge of Appian components: SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, Sites.
• Experience with Appian Cloud Administration, Plug-ins, Appian RPA, and Appian Connected Systems.
• Proficiency in Java, SQL, and Web Services (REST/SOAP).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimize Appian applications including interface, rules, integrations, Records, Sites, Reports, and Process Models.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Implement Appian best practices for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Integrate Appian with external systems using Web APIs, RDBMS, REST/SOAP APIs and third-party services.
• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of Appian applications.
• Document technical designs and provide support during UAT and production.
• Drive Agile and DevOps adoption through CI/CD implementation, automated testing, and release management.
