Job summary

Persistent is seeking a Technical Business Analyst with hands-on Appian project experience (or LCNC) and strong banking domain knowledge to support workflow modernization, migration, and integration within a large-scale banking transformation program in Sydney.

You will gather requirements, run workshops, create BRDs and use cases, work with Appian Architects and SMEs, and contribute to testing and cutover activities while embracing a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Business Analysis experience.
• Proven experience working on Appian implementation or modernization projects.
• Strong understanding of Appian workflows, case management, and platform capabilities.
• Banking domain experience covering customer onboarding, account origination, servicing, lending, payments, or core banking.
• Experience with enterprise integrations, APIs, and data migration initiatives.
• Experience working on large-scale transformation or migration programs.
• Strong stakeholder management and Agile delivery experience.
• Exposure to Low-Code/No-Code (LCNC) platforms such as Appian, Power Platform.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document functional, technical, integration, migration, and non-functional requirements.
• Conduct workshops with business, architecture, security, migration, and technology stakeholders.
• Create BRDs, User Stories, Use Cases, Process Flows, Interface Specifications, and Data Mapping documents.
• Analyse legacy applications and define target-state Appian workflow solutions.
• Work closely with Appian Architects, Developers, Product Owners, and SMEs.
• Define workflow, integration, API, and data migration requirements.
• Perform current-state vs target-state analysis and identify modernization opportunities.
• Support migration planning, validation, reconciliation, testing, and cutover activities.
• Conduct impact assessments across connected banking systems and platforms.
• Support SIT, Migration Testing, UAT, Production Validation, and Hypercare activities.
