Job summary

HammondCare in St Leonards, NSW, is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team. You will handle supplier invoices, maintain strong vendor relationships, and ensure timely payments in line with payment terms and policies.

You will work with internal stakeholders, support monthly reconciliations, and drive process improvements within a collaborative, not-for-profit health setting that values inclusion and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role.
• Experience processing high volumes of invoices within deadlines and SLAs.
• Tertiary qualifications in accounting preferred.
• Coupa and Epicor exposure advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Distribute invoices to relevant facilities and stakeholders for approval and follow up.
• Collaborate with teams and suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
• Manage AP enquiries from suppliers and internal stakeholders via phone and email.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain missing documentation and ensure timely payments.
• Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations and investigate outstanding items.
• Assist with EFT, BPAY, and ad hoc payment processing to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain supplier master data and act as primary contact for vendor enquiries.
• Identify process improvements to enhance AP efficiency and accuracy.
