Job summary

HammondCare in St Leonards, NSW, is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the financial management of the Residential Care business unit, overseeing month-end and year-end activities, budgeting, forecasting and process improvement.

You will partner with Heads of Operations and Facility Managers to deliver accurate reporting, billing and funding reconciliations, and drive insights with PowerBI workflows, while supporting continuous improvement and compliance.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years practical experience in a similar role.
• Experience in a not-for-profit organisation is not essential.
• CPA or CA qualified.
• Ability to interpret & apply accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and year-end financial accounting including general ledger entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management reports, variance analysis and commentary.
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting using Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Provide financial insights to support operational decision making.
• Liaise with auditors and support external review processes.
