Job summary

HammondCare is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Officer based in St Leonards with hybrid working options. You will process supplier invoices, maintain strong vendor relationships, and ensure timely payments aligned with terms and internal controls.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in Accounts Payable or similar finance role.
• Strong admin and computer skills; Coupa/Epicor exposure advantageous.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent stakeholder management with suppliers and internal teams.
• Experience processing high volumes of invoices within deadlines and SLAs.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Demonstrates empathy, patience, and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Distribute invoices to facilities and stakeholders for approval.
• Collaborate with teams and suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
• Manage Accounts Payable inquiries by phone and email.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain missing invoice documentation.
• Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations and investigate outstanding items.
• Assist with EFT, BPAY, and ad hoc payment processing.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain supplier master data and act as primary vendor contact.
• Ensure compliance with policies, financial controls and audits.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
