Job summary

Vanderlande in Sydney seeks a Senior Sales Consultant to drive pre-contract sales success. You will lead the regional concept and bid teams, align with engineering and service, and present compelling airport automation solutions to customers.

You will identify customer needs, prepare proposals, and support handover to project execution. Strong English and an entrepreneurial, analytical mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Data analysis skills preferred.
• Excellent communication with customers and internal teams.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to drive opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the concept and sales project team for the assigned region.
• Collaborate with Business Development Manager to develop winning proposals.
• Ensure the quality and cost of solutions; manage margins on large projects (>€15M).
• Convince stakeholders; align sales strategy with customer needs and pricing.
• Identify risks early and ensure mitigation plans are in place.
• Build relationships with decision-makers at tactical and strategic levels.
