Job summary

Mixpanel is seeking a Customer Engineering professional to join our ANZ team as a Senior Sales Engineer. You will partner with Account Executives and deliver technical demos, scoping proofs-of-concept, and data-driven value propositions for enterprise customers across Australia and New Zealand.

In this role you’ll become a Mixpanel expert, engage with developers and executives, and drive successful implementations that showcase business ROI and analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a SaaS Sales Engineering or related role.
• Experience in data querying, modelling, and transformation using SQL, dbt, Python, BI platforms or Product Analytics tools.
• Familiarity with databases and cloud data warehouses (e.g., GCP, Redshift, Snowflake, Azure).
• Excellent written, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel within ANZ region and occasionally across APJ.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor for prospects, providing strategic consultation on data architecture and business outcomes.
• Communicate and consult effectively at all levels of the customer’s organisation to earn trust and influence decisions.
• Lead technical qualification for customer use cases and deliver customised demos for prospects and existing customers.
• Partner with Account Executives to drive revenue growth across ANZ and be the key technical contact for customers.
• Collaborate with post-sales teams to translate pre-sales value into tangible post-sales results.
• Develop relationships with key technical stakeholders within your book of business across Australia and New Zealand.
