Job summary

Insight Timer is seeking a Senior or Lead Analytics Engineer to learn from data, own experiments, and build scalable analytics across the company. You’ll partner with product, engineering and leadership to turn questions into experiments, data models and insights that improve the app over a lifetime.

You’ll set technical bar, mentor others, and push toward self-serve analytics while balancing speed and rigor to deliver impact for millions of users worldwide.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL on a modern cloud warehouse.
• Experience owning analytics work end to end; mentoring is a plus for Lead level.
• Experience with large event-based datasets and varied schemas.
• Familiarity with A/B tests and causal inference is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret experiments; translate results into product recommendations.
• Deliver analytics by turning questions into clear, useful answers and prioritising requests.
• Own data ingestion, modelling and metrics with clean, trusted datasets.
• Build self-serve tooling and semantic layers for company-wide access.
• Perform product and revenue analysis to understand lifecycle and conversions.
• Mentor and lead analytics engineers; set technical direction.
• Explain data clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
