Insight Timer, the world’s largest meditation and wellness community, is seeking a Senior/Lead Analytics Engineer to drive data-informed decisions. You will own data models, experiments and metrics, work with product and engineering, and mentor other analytics engineers.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential for cross-functional collaboration.
• Solid experience as an analytics engineer with end-to-end ownership of projects.
• Strong SQL proficiency on a modern cloud warehouse (BigQuery).
• Experience handling large, event-based datasets with varied schemas.
• Proven track record analysing and interpreting A/B tests; causal inference a plus.
• STEM background in maths/statistics is advantageous.
• Experience with Python and LLM or agentic analytics workflows, and semantic layers.

Responsibilities

• A/B test analysis: interpret experiments and provide clear product recommendations.
• Analytics delivery: translate questions into useful, actionable insights across product and leadership.
• Data ingestion, modelling and metrics: own data pipelines, models and trusted metrics with best practices.
• Self-serve analytics: build tooling and semantic layers enabling teams to answer their own questions.
• Product and revenue analysis: investigate user segments, conversions and lifecycle metrics.
• Mentoring and leadership: guide the analytics engineering team and set technical direction.
• Communication: explain data clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
