Job summary

Insight Timer is seeking a Senior or Lead Analytics Engineer to learn from data and influence product decisions across the organization. You’ll own experiments, build scalable data models, and implement clean, well-documented datasets.

You’ll mentor peers and raise the technical bar for analytics across the company. You’ll work with product, engineering and leadership to deliver insights that improve the app over a user’s lifetime, while balancing speed and rigour in fast-moving, impactful

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid experience as an analytics engineer and owning end-to-end work.
• Strong SQL on a modern cloud warehouse (BigQuery).
• Experience with large, event-based datasets with varied schemas.
• Track record analysing and interpreting A/B tests; causal inference is a plus.
• STEM background or maths/statistics is a plus.
• Experience with Python, LLM or agentic analytics workflows, and semantic layers.

Responsibilities

• A/B test analysis: interpret experiments and provide clear recommendations to product.
• Analytics delivery: turn questions into clear, useful answers and prioritise requests.
• Data ingestion, modelling and metrics: own data modelling and trustworthy metrics with clean datasets.
• Self-serve analytics: build tooling and semantic layers for company-wide access.
• Product and revenue analysis: analyze behavior and lifecycle metrics to drive conversions.
