Job summary

Nuix is building a new AI engineering team in Sydney that owns Enrich — our AI data-enrichment product for finding, identifying and codifying data in unstructured documents — and adds AI capabilities to the Nuix Neo platform. The stack includes Java, Python and React/TypeScript/MUI, with SaaS and on-prem deployments.

As a Senior Software Engineer you’ll ship AI-backed features end-to-end, raise quality in security/performance/DevOps, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with product,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with end-to-end delivery.
• Strong backend Java with Spring; full-stack React/TypeScript experience valued.
• Experience shipping AI-backed products in production and collaborating with data science.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end across Enrich and the agentic work: design, build, test and ship.
• Improve and extend an ML product codebase with pragmatic changes.
• Shape design, evaluation and shipping of AI agents in the platform.
