Job summary

Keeyu Holdings Pty Limited – Surry Hills NSW is seeking a software engineer to design, develop and deliver agentic AI systems at the core of our platform, owning end-to-end backend, frontend and AI application layers, with accountability for reliability, safety and production performance.

You will design and operate production-grade AI systems, including agent planning, tool calls, memory management and orchestration, while building backend services and React-based interfaces for AI-enabled

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying agentic AI systems in production, with autonomous actions against live systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
• Hands-on expertise with large language model APIs, agent frameworks, prompt and context engineering, tool calling and orchestration patterns.
• Full-stack capability across backend, frontend (React) and AI application layers.
• Experience designing and operating production-grade systems for reliability, scalability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate AI agent systems in production, including agent planning, tool and function calling, memory and context management, error recovery, fallback logic and human-in-the-loop escalation paths.
• Develop backend services and frontend interfaces for AI-driven features.
• Build evaluation and guardrail infrastructure for non-deterministic system behaviour.
• Own the full lifecycle from architecture through to production operation.
