Job summary

Sirius Technology in Sydney CBD is recruiting a Senior AI Software Engineer for a 12-month contract to design scalable backend systems and AI pipelines.

You will build multi-agent AI deployment scaffolding, use graph databases, and ensure high availability across enterprise platforms.

The role features hybrid work in Sydney CBD and requires production-grade backend experience and strong distributed systems skills.

Qualifications

• Strong backend engineering fundamentals in Python/Java.
• Experience deploying production AI/ML pipelines and LLM infrastructure.
• Hands-on with Graph technologies (Neo4j, Neptune, knowledge graphs).
• Experience in multi-agent enterprise software environments.
• High availability distributed systems with problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, production-grade backend systems and microservices in Python and Java to enable enterprise-wide AI agent deployment.
• Architect and integrate robust AI/ML pipelines into existing high-availability software platforms.
• Leverage Graph technologies to structure, query, and optimise complex enterprise data relationships for agentic workflows.
• Build and maintain infrastructure for multi-agent platforms, state management, and enterprise security controls.
• Utilise modern AI tools and LLM capabilities to solve complex software engineering bottlenecks at scale.
• Collaborate with business unit development teams to streamline integration and maintain platform reliability.
