Job summary

Sirius Technology in Sydney CBD is seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer to design and build scalable backend systems and microservices in Python and Java, enabling enterprise-wide AI agent deployment. You will architect AI/ML pipelines, integrate graph technologies like Neo4j or Neptune, and support multi-agent orchestration in a high-availability platform.

Qualifications

Extensive commercial backend development in Python and Java.
Proven experience deploying production AI/ML pipelines and LLM infrastructure.
Hands-on with Graph technologies (Neo4j, Neptune) and knowledge graphs.
Experience with multi-agent enterprise software environments and orchestrating LLMs.
Strong distributed systems and high-availability design.
Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (PR).

Responsibilities

Design and build scalable backend systems and microservices in Python and Java to enable enterprise-wide AI agent deployment.
Architect and integrate robust AI/ML pipelines into existing high-availability software platforms.
Leverage Graph technologies to structure, query, and optimise complex enterprise data relationships for agentic workflows.
Build and maintain infrastructure for multi-agent platforms, state management, and enterprise security controls.
Utilise modern AI tools and LLM capabilities to solve complex software engineering bottlenecks at scale.
Collaborate with business unit development teams to streamline integration and maintain platform reliability.
