Job summary

Bilue is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build and ship agentic AI systems for clients across financial services, government, insurance and retail. You’ll work in Bilue AI Labs, balancing client delivery with shaping tools, patterns and standards for the team.

You’ll apply strong Python and multi-language skills, lead cross-functional delivery, and shape production-grade AI in a hybrid Sydney-based role with participation in architecture, data pipelines and governance.

Qualifications

• Proven track record shipping AI/GenAI solutions to production.
• Strong Python skills and experience with at least one other language (TypeScript/Java).
• Experience directing coding agents and evaluating outputs.
• Hands-on with agentic systems and vector search.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Solid fundamentals: SQL, ETL/ELT, distributed systems, APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship AI systems for clients across sectors.
• Architect cloud-native AI solutions and LLM-powered features for enterprise clients.
• Lead AI technical delivery in cross-functional squads with designers and stakeholders.
• Ensure production-grade quality with tests, evaluation, and bias testing.
• Develop reusable tools and accelerators for faster project starts.
