Job summary

Pacific Life Re Australia seeks a Manager, Actuarial Analytics & Insights, Protection to lead the delivery of robust actuarial results for Financial Reporting and Business Planning.

You will work with the AA&I and CA teams to coordinate modelling, support capital management and drive continuous improvement across processes and systems. A leadership role with impact across DBS and LoBs.

Qualifications

• Qualified actuary with at least 5 years in life insurance or life reinsurance.
• Strong track record in improving processes and continuous improvement.
• Experience with actuarial modelling software and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyse actuarial model outputs across bases (US GAAP, IFRS17, LAGIC, EC, BMA).
• Support capital management processes for the Australia entity.
• Develop actuarial methodology and ensure accuracy of results.
