Job summary

Pacific Life Re is seeking a Manager, Actuarial Analytics & Insights, Protection to lead the delivery of actuarial results and drive continuous improvement across reporting bases (US GAAP, IFRS17, LAGIC). You will partner with CA teams and DBS to support capital management, valuation assumptions, and cross‑functional initiatives.

The role emphasizes change leadership, collaboration across time zones, and the ability to communicate complex insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Qualified actuary with minimum of 5 years’ experience in life insurance or life reinsurance.
• Experience with IFRS17 and related modelling complexities.
• Proven track record of improving processes and leading change.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, analyse and summarise actuarial model outputs across all bases (US GAAP, IFRS17, LAGIC, EC, BMA).
• Support capital management processes for the Australia entity and annual actuarial reports.
• Develop and maintain relationships with CA teams and DBS functions.
