Job summary

Reo Group in Sydney is seeking a Senior Accountant to support all areas of finance, ensuring accurate financial processes and reporting during a maternity leave cover. The role offers hybrid working options with one day of work from home and a competitive package.

You will be responsible for journal entries, reconciliations, budgeting support and financial reporting, liaising with a global finance team. Strong Excel and ERP experience are required.

Qualifications

• The role requires senior accounting experience with financial reporting.
• Experience with GST, Payroll Tax and Income Tax is required.
• Advanced Excel with data analysis capabilities is essential.
• ERP experience, preferably Oracle Financials, is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, ledger analysis and variance analysis.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and ensure internal controls.
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Prepare financial and management reporting with the World Firm Finance team.
• Assist with external audits and tax compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
