Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent, either completed or nearing.
• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, preferably in a medium to large organization.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, taxation requirements, and internal control frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reconciliations.
• Deliver statutory and regulatory financial reporting requirements.
• Guide and develop two direct reports.
• Partner with budget managers on forecasting and variance analysis.
