ACCIONA Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Accountant based in Australia to own month-end and year-end closes, prepare financial statements, reconciliations and statutory reporting. You will lead and develop two direct reports, working across financial and management accounting, audits and finance systems.

With a strong background in accounting principles, budgeting and forecasting, you will partner with budget managers and strengthen internal controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA/CA/ACCA) or nearing completion is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review financial statements and reconciliations
• Deliver statutory and regulatory financial reporting requirements
• Guide and develop two direct reports
• Partner with budget managers on forecasting and variance analysis
