Job summary

ACCIONA Infrastructure delivers major civil, transport, water, tunnelling and building projects across Australia and New Zealand. This Senior Accountant role sits within the Finance function, employed through GEOTECH PTY LTD, and supports the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting as the business grows its infrastructure delivery pipeline.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will own month-end and year-end close, prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations and statutory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce or equivalent.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Experience with multi-entity organisations and complex structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reconciliations.
• Deliver statutory and regulatory financial reporting.
• Guide and develop two direct reports.
• Partner with budget managers on forecasting and variance analysis.
• Strengthen internal controls and compliance.
• Support audit activity and provide technical accounting advice.
