Job summary

Terrain Group is seeking an experienced 310T Licensed Mechanic to take ownership of maintenance, repair, and day-to-day management of our fleet. You will diagnose and repair trucks and equipment, plan preventative maintenance, coordinate repairs and parts, and maintain service records to keep the fleet safe and reliable.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong diagnostics, welding, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

Full 310T Truck and Coach Technician license is required.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed 310T mechanic.
Strong experience diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty trucks.
Welding experience is preferred.
Valid G driver’s license; AZ or DZ is an asset.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical issues on trucks.
Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
Complete Ontario MTO annual safety inspections on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
Conduct regular fleet inspections and safety checks.
Coordinate ordering and management of parts, supplies, and repair materials.
Maintain accurate maintenance and service records.
Maintain an organized inventory of parts and shop supplies.
Coordinate outside repairs and service providers when required.
Support field repairs and breakdowns when necessary.
