Job summary

Polaris Education – Redstone Hall School, Ipswich is seeking a SEN Class Teacher. The role offers a basic salary of £28,000 to £39,520, is a full-time position, and follows term-time only hours, 37.5 hours per week, based in Ipswich.

You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons within the National Curriculum while addressing complex SEMH needs, supporting the class team, reporting on pupil progress, and supervising outside lessons.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Educated to degree level.
• Previous successful teaching experience is required.
• Experience of working with pupils with SEMH within an educational setting.
• Experience of behaviour-management strategies and techniques.
• A commitment to professional development and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support the class team in facilitating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviour.
