Job summary

Lumia Care is seeking Community Support Workers to join our Parramatta/Sydney team, helping elderly clients living at home with social support, transport, shopping assistance and outings. Flexible hours and a supportive team culture.

You will provide personal care with dignity, help clients stay independent at home, and work with dedicated mentors. A Certificate III/IV in Community/Aged Care or equivalent is desirable; a valid driver’s license and First Aid are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent is highly desirable; Nursing students will be considered.
• Experience in aged care within the community is highly desirable.
• A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle is a MUST.
• Current First Aid certificate, Police check, NDIS Worker screening check and Working with Children Check (mandatory) or willingness to obtain.

We have an exciting opportunity for Community Support Workers to join our growing team in the Parramatta/St George/Sydney (Girraween) supporting elderly clients living in their homes and making a genuine difference every day with flexible hours, rewarding work, and a great team culture.

About The Role

• Your role will involve supporting clients in the community by providing social support, transport, shopping assistance and meaningful outings in the community. Delivering personal care with dignity and helping clients stay independent at home through domestic support, meal preparation and warm, reliable companionship.

• Wide variety of shifts available Monday – Friday 7am-3pm (minimum 2 days availability required)
• What we are looking for:
• A passionate, caring and empathetic personality is a MUST.
• Willingness to learn new skills on the job through training.
• Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent is highly desirable, current Nursing students will also be considered.
