Job summary

Lumia Care Pty invites applications for Community Support Workers to assist in the Sutherland region. You will help elderly clients live safely at home, stay connected with their community, and receive ongoing mentorship from a dedicated team.

The role includes social support, transport assistance, personal care with dignity, and home duties. Applicants should have Cert III/IV in relevant fields or be studying Nursing, plus a valid driver’s license and vehicle.

The Opportunity

We're urgently looking for Community Support Workers living in the Sutherland region.

In this rewarding role, you'll support elderly clients to live safely and independently in their own homes-while staying connected to their community.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing social support, companionship, and meaningful engagement
• Assisting with transport, shopping, and outings
• Delivering personal care with dignity and respect
• Supporting with domestic tasks and meal preparation

What You'll Get

• Ongoing support from experienced mentors and team leaders
• Paid induction and continuous training
• Regular weekday roster (Mon-Fri, 7am-5pm)
• Minimum 3 days availability required

What We're Looking For

• Caring, empathetic, and reliable individuals
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Cert III/IV in Aged Care, Disability, Community (or studying Nursing - highly regarded)
• Community/aged care experience
• Driver's licence + reliable insured vehicle (essential)
• Current checks (or willingness to obtain): First Aid/CPR, Police Check, NDIS, WWCC
