Job summary

Lumia Care Pty is seeking Community Support Workers to help elderly clients live independently at home in Sydney. You will provide social support, companionship, and engage clients in meaningful activities, while assisting with transport, shopping, and outings.

The role includes delivering personal care with dignity and respect and aiding with domestic tasks and meals. A Cert III/IV in Aged Care or related fields is preferred, with a willingness to learn and grow within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Caring, empathetic and reliable individuals.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
• Cert III/IV in Aged Care, Disability, Community (or studying Nursing – highly regarded).
• Community/aged care experience.
• Driver’s licence + reliable insured vehicle (essential).
• Current checks (or willingness to obtain): First Aid/CPR, Police Check, NDIS, WWCC.

The Opportunity

We’re urgently looking for Community Support Workers living in the SYDNEY CITY

In this rewarding role, you’ll support elderly clients to live safely and independently in their own homes—while staying connected to their community.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Providing social support, companionship, and meaningful engagement
• Assisting with transport, shopping, and outings
• Delivering personal care with dignity and respect
• Supporting with domestic tasks and meal preparation

What You’ll Get

• Ongoing support from experienced mentors and team leaders
• Paid induction and continuous training
• Regular weekday roster (Mon–Fri, 7am–5pm)
• Minimum 3 days availability required

What We’re Looking For
