Job summary

Lumia Care is seeking Community Support Workers in the Eastern suburbs (Maroubra, Randwick, Bellevue Hill) to assist elderly clients at home with social support, transport, shopping and outings, while providing dignified personal care and companionship.

We offer mentorship, paid induction, and a 500 AUD signing bonus. Shifts are Mon–Fri 7am–3pm with flexibility and a supportive team culture; applicants with relevant certificates and a valid driver's license are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must have empathy and a caring, patient personality.
• Willingness to learn new skills on the job.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.
• Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent is highly desirable.

About The Role

• Your role will involve supporting clients in the community by providing social support, transport, shopping assistance and meaningful outings in the community. Delivering personal care with dignity and helping clients stay independent at home through domestic support, meal preparation and warm, reliable companionship.

What We Can Offer You

• Organizational support by having dedicated mentors/team leaders.
• Paid induction and professional development training.
• Wide variety of shifts available Monday – Friday 7am-3pm (minimum 2 days availability required)
• $500 signing bonus (T&C's apply)

What we are looking for

• A passionate, caring and empathetic personality is a MUST.
• GREEK Speaking is a plus but not mandatory.
• Willingness to learn new skills on the job through training.
• Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent is highly desirable, current Nursing students will also be considered.
• Experience in aged care within the community is highly desirable.
• A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle is a MUST.
• Current First Aid certificate, Police check, NDIS Worker screening check and Working with Children Check (mandatory) or willingness to obtain.
