JD Security seeks experienced Security Technicians for regional NSW roles in Dubbo, Mudgee, Tamworth, Hunter, New England and North Coast areas. You will perform inspections, diagnose faults, and support alarm, IP CCTV and access control systems.

Travel across designated regions for responsive service and project installations, while building strong customer relationships and staying current with security technologies. A collaborative team culture is offered.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electronic security systems including IP CCTV, Access Control and Alarm Systems.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving technical issues.
• Leadership capability and ability to manage small teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

Security Technicians (Projects, Service, Maintenance, Install)

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experiencedSecurity Technician who thrives within service, installation, maintenance and project environmentsto join our regional team based in Dubbo, Mudgee, Tamworth, Hunter, New England and North Coast Area.

Position Description & Role Requirements

Able to work independently with strong self-motivation as well as collaborative environments when required.

Conduct routine inspections, diagnose faults and leverage your technical expertise on large Alarm, Access Control, and IP CCTV systems.

Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively prioritise tasks and executing defined deadlines.

Travel across Tamworth, Dubbo, North Coast, Hunter and New England areas to deliver responsive Service and Project Installations.

High level of attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance and quality assurance.

Build trusted customer relationships and support continuous customer satisfaction.

Stay updated on the latest security technologies and industry trends.

Experience & Certifications

IT Networking and Electrical backgrounds - Welcome to apply.

Strong knowledge of electronic security systems, including IP CCTV, Access Control and Alarm Systems.

Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving technical issues.

Strong leadership capability and the confidence to manage small teams.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.

Current Drivers Licence, Security Industry Licence or able to obtain, Open Cabling License and White Card.
