Job summary

JD Security is seeking an experienced Security Technician to support both service maintenance and project work in the Sydney area. You will diagnose faults, install and maintain IP CCTV, Alarm and Access Control systems, and travel across the Sydney Metro Area to deliver responsive service.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in security systems with proven project experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead small teams while maintaining top-quality customer relationships.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in security systems installation and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of electronic security systems including IP CCTV, Access Control and Alarm Systems.
Proven ability with large-scale projects is essential.
Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving technical issues.
Strong leadership capability and the confidence to manage small teams.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections, diagnose faults and optimize large Alarm, Access Control, and IP CCTV systems.
Travel across the Sydney Metro Area to deliver responsive Service and Project Support.
Build trusted customer relationships and ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
Stay updated on latest security technologies and industry trends.
