Job summary

Securecorp Electronics is seeking Senior Electronic Security Installation Technicians to lead installation teams for retail projects in New South Wales.

You will install, configure and troubleshoot alarm, access control and CCTV systems, provide client training, and work with project managers to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.

Qualifications

• Certification in electronics, security systems or related field preferred.
• Class 2 NSW Security Advisors and Installation License required.
• Must have full-time, permanent work rights in Australia.
• Proven experience installing and maintaining electronic security systems.

Responsibilities

Securecorp Electronics is a leading provider of advanced electronic security solutions. Due to an expanding relationship with a Tier 1 retailer, we are looking for skilled and motivated Senior Electronic Security Installation Technicians to lead our dynamic installation teams.

Position Overview:

Securecorp is seeking talented and motivated Senior Security Installation Technicians to join our retail installations team on a permanent full time basis.

As an Senior Electronic Security Installation Technician, you will play a crucial role in the deployment and maintenance of security systems. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting various electronic security equipment, including alarm systems, access control systems, surveillance cameras and other related technologies. Your expertise will ensure our clients receive reliable and effective security solutions tailored to their specific needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure and test electronic security systems, including Access Control, Electronic Alarm and CCTV systems to provided client approved plans and specifications.
• Perform installation, commissioning, repair, modification or updating of hardware or software configurations as required.
• Provide technical support and training to clients on the use and functionality of installed systems.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and Operations Manager to ensure each install is completed on time, and on budget.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of industry trends and technological advancements.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations during installation and service tasks.
• Document all installations, services and maintenance activities accurately.
• Be available for regular night shift works (usually Monday to Thursday nights only – enjoy regular long weekends) and be available to travel throughout New South Wales where required.

Qualifications / Eligibility:

• Certification in electronics, security systems or a related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
• Class 2 NSW Security Advisors and Installation License.
• Must have full-time, permanent work rights in Australia.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to various client sites.
• Open Cabling Registration and required endorsements (structured cabling at a minimum)
• EWP License.
• General Construction Industry White Card.
• Proven experience in installing and maintaining electronic security systems.
• Strong understanding of electronic circuitry, wiring and components.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and testing equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired Experience:

• Technicians with proven experience in Integriti & Tecom Access Control and Intruder systems.
• Technicians with knowledge of CCTV systems, March Networks or similar preferred.
