About the Role

An opportunity is available for an experienced Electronic Security professional to join a specialist technical team in an office-based programming and commissioning role.

You'll remotely program, configure, commission and troubleshoot electronic security systems, with a focus on access control, CCTV/VMS, networking and integrations.

The role suits an experienced Commissioning Technician, Security Systems Engineer or Senior Security Technician looking to move away from installation work and focus on the technical side of electronic security.

• $100k - $120k + Super (negotiable on experience)


• Predominantly office-based role


• Minimal requirement for traditional installation work


• Work across complex commercial and enterprise security systems


• Strong technical focus across programming, integrations and networking


• Opportunity to further develop advanced systems engineering expertise

Duties

• Remote programming and commissioning of electronic security systems


• Configure access control, CCTV/VMS and integrated security solutions


• Troubleshoot system, software, network and integration issues


• Complete system testing, configuration changes and upgrades


• Integrate security platforms with third-party systems


• Provide technical support to technicians and project teams


• Assist with commissioning documentation and system handover

Skills & Experience

• Strong electronic security programming and commissioning experience


• Experience with Integriti, Gallagher, Genetec and/or Milestone highly regarded


• Strong access control and CCTV/VMS knowledge


• Good understanding of IP networking, servers and system integrations


• Ability to independently configure and troubleshoot security systems


• Experience across commercial, government or enterprise projects advantageous


• Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills
