Job summary

Roc Consulting is seeking an experienced Security Installation Technician to deliver commercial security installations across Sydney. You will install Inner Range Integriti systems, access control, CCTV and alarms, reading drawings and ensuring high workmanship on every job.

You will work with project managers and commissioning technicians from first fix to testing and handover, keeping safety and quality as top priorities. NSW licences and a valid White Card are required.

Qualifications

Commercial electronic security installation experience.
Hands on experience installing Inner Range Integriti systems and products.
Experience with access control, CCTV and intruder detection.
Ability to read drawings and follow project documentation.
Strong workmanship and attention to detail.
Current NSW Security Licence.
Open Cabling Registration.
Construction White Card.
Current Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

Install Inner Range Integriti controllers, modules and field equipment.
Install card readers, locks, reed switches, exit devices and door hardware.
Install IP cameras, alarms, intercoms and control panels.
Run, secure, label and terminate security and data cabling.
Complete first fix and second fix works.
Read floor plans, schematics and cable schedules.
Conduct point to point testing before commissioning.
Assist with defect rectification and project handovers.
Work with builders, site supervisors and other trades.
Maintain safe, neat and professional installation standards.

Security Installation Technician

Salary: Up to $120K + Super + Vehicle + Overtime

The Opportunity

An established Sydney electronic security integrator is looking for an experienced Installation Technician to join its project team.

The role is focused on commercial security installations across Sydney, including access control, CCTV, alarms, intercoms and structured cabling.

We need someone with genuine commercial project experience who can confidently install Inner Range Integriti equipment and complete work to a high standard.

The Role

You will work alongside Project Managers and commissioning technicians to deliver commercial installations from first fix through to testing and handover.

Installing Inner Range Integriti controllers, modules and field equipment
Installing card readers, locks, reed switches, request to exit devices and door hardware
Installing IP cameras, alarms, intercoms and control panels
Running, securing, labelling and terminating security and data cabling
Completing first fix and second fix works
Reading floor plans, schematics and cable schedules
Conducting point to point testing before commissioning
Assisting with defect rectification and project handovers
Working with builders, site supervisors and other trades
Maintaining safe, neat and professional installation standards
