Job summary

Trident Services Security Pty Ltd on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead the Kawana Shoppingworld security team. The role handles day-to-day operations, rostering, training and client reporting from Thursday to Monday, ensuring safety and exceptional service for retailers and the community.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in security supervision, strong leadership, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a security supervisory or leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead and develop large operational teams.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong understanding of security operations, emergency management and relevant legislation.
• Current QLD Security Provider licences including Security Officer (Unarmed), Crowd Control and Monitoring.
• Current Senior First Aid & CPR certificate.
• Open Australian Class C Driver Licence.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Confidence using workforce management and security reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Regional Security Manager on all operational security and safety matters.
• Lead, mentor and coordinate the onsite security team to deliver outstanding service standards.
• Manage rosters, time and attendance, labour budgets and workforce performance.
• Ensure contractual compliance and adherence to site operating procedures and emergency management plans.
• Conduct audits, onboarding, inductions and ongoing site-specific training.
• Manage employee performance, coaching and corrective action where required.
• Coordinate ongoing training to maintain contemporary industry and contractual standards.
• Prepare operational reports and client performance documentation.
• Build strong relationships with centre management, retailers, emergency services and local stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, licensing requirements and company policies.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance security operations and procedures.

Lead a high-performing security team at one of the Sunshine Coast's premier retail destinations.

Trident Services Security Pty Ltd is a recognised leader in integrated security and cleaning services, delivering proactive, customer-focused solutions across retail centres, airports and commercial facilities throughout Australia.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Security Supervisor to lead our team at Kawana Shoppingworld on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. This is a full-time Thursday to Monday day roster, offering an excellent work-life balance while leading the day-to-day operational and administrative management of the security function, ensuring exceptional safety, security and customer service outcomes for our client, retailers and the wider community.

What you'll be doing
