Job summary

Millennium Services Group in Tasmania is seeking a highly motivated Security Supervisor to manage one of our busy sites in Eastlands TAS. The role demands strong leadership, a solid knowledge of site security, building management systems, and fire control procedures.

You will lead a team of security officers, oversee the control room and CCTV, manage client relationships on site, assess risks, respond to alarms, and promote workplace safety while adhering to site SOPs.

Qualifications

• Valid Security Licence is a must.
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification is required.
• Security supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a retail environment (highly regarded).
• Reliable transportation (preferred).
• Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• The ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage client relationships and stakeholders on site.
• A proven track record of reliability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of Security Officers

• Implement effective strategies for engaging with persons of interest

• Provide advice, directions and display a willingness to assist all persons whilst on-duty
• Promote and maintain workplace health and safety
• Input data on site/client systems, as required by site SOPs
• Recruit and train new employees

Millennium is currently seeking a highly motivatedSecurity Supervisorto manage one of our busy INDUSTRY sites in Eastlands TAS.

The role requires an experienced individual with excellent knowledge in site security, building management systems and fire control systems, and the application of standard operating procedures.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team and grow your career in the Security Industry. We have Full time position available, with shifts as follows:

Monday-Friday: 0900-1700

Duties & Responsibilities include:
