Millennium Services Group is seeking a Retail Security Supervisor to lead a team at Eastgardens, NSW. The role focuses on security operations, building management and fire control systems, with a strong emphasis on SOP compliance and risk mitigation.

You will manage a 16-person security team, coordinate with the control room, and liaise with the client and regional managers to ensure seamless site coverage and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a Security Supervisor/Manager preferred.
• Valid Security Licence is a must.
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Retail environment experience is highly regarded.
• Reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to a team of 16 security officers for 24/7 site coverage.
• Oversee the site control room and CCTV system.
• Manage the on-site client relationship and report to regional manager.
• Assess and mitigate on-site risks.
• Respond to alarms and incidents promptly.
• Engage with persons of interest and maintain safety compliance.
• Communicate clearly with all on-duty personnel.
• Input data in site systems per SOPs.
• Recruit and train new employees.

The Role

Step into a premium retail environment — Millennium is seeking a driven Retail Security Supervisor to lead our team at a busy shopping centre in Eastgardens, NSW.

The role requires an experienced individual with excellent knowledge in site security, building management systems and fire control systems, and the application of standard operating procedures.

• Minimum annual earnings of $98K, plus allowances

ROSTER

Tuesday - Wednesday, Friday - Saturday: 0830 am - 1800 pm

Thursday: 12:00 pm - 2100 pm

Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Provide leadership and oversight to a team of 16 security officers, maintaining seamless 24/7 site coverage.


• Overseeing the site-based control room and CCTV system


• Manage the client relationship on site and report up to regional manager


• Assess and mitigate risks on site


• Respond to calls for assistance and respond to alarm events


• Implement effective strategies for engaging with persons of interest


• Communicate effectively with all persons whilst on duty


• Use communication systems including portable two-way radios


• Provide advice, directions and display a willingness to assist all persons whilst on-duty


• Promote and maintain workplace health and safety


• Input data on site/client systems, as required by site SOPs


• Recruit and train new employees

Key Selection Criteria:

• 5+ years' experience as a Security Supervisor/Manager is highly desirable and valued


• Valid Security Licence is a must


• Basic First Aid and CPR certification is required


• Previous experience in a retail environment (highly regarded)


• Reliable transportation (preferred).


• Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.


• The ability to follow instructions and work independently


• Strong attention to detail


• Ability to manage client relationships and stakeholders on site


• A proven track record of reliability and punctuality
