Job summary

Certis Security Australia is seeking an experienced NV1 Security Supervisor to lead security operations at Airservices facilities in Brisbane. The role oversees frontline security personnel, incident responses, access control, and monitoring systems in a high-security environment protecting critical national infrastructure.

Location is Brisbane with Permanent Full Time employment and a 9x10-hour roster. Day shifts only, with ongoing training and career development opportunities within Certis

Qualifications

• NV1 Security Clearance is mandatory.
• Current QLD Security Licence (Monitoring & Unarmed) is required.
• First Aid & CPR certification current.
• Valid Driver's Licence held.
• Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
• ASIC clearance, or ability to obtain one.
• Previous experience in a Security Supervisor, Team Leader, or Senior Security Officer role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Security Officers across the site.
• Oversee daily security operations, access control, and visitor management.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and Gallagher security systems.
• Coordinate responses to alarms, incidents, and emergencies.
• Conduct site patrols and security inspections.
• Escalate incidents and liaise with Site Management and emergency services.
• Maintain accurate reports, logs, and security records.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Support training, mentoring, and performance of security personnel.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive NV1 Security Supervisor to lead security operations at Airservices facilities. This role is responsible for supervising frontline security personnel, coordinating incident responses, managing access control and monitoring systems, and ensuring compliance within a high-security environment protecting critical national infrastructure.

Location: Brisbane

Employment Type: Permanent Full Time

Roster: 90 hours per fortnight (9 x 10-hour shifts)

Shift Pattern: Day Shifts Only

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support Security Officers across the site
• Oversee daily security operations, access control, and visitor management
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and Gallagher security systems
• Coordinate responses to alarms, incidents, and emergencies
• Conduct site patrols and security inspections
