Securitas is hiring a Security Responder at Seven Hills, NSW. This full-time role covers day and night shifts and involves protecting people and assets, patrolling facilities, and coordinating response to incidents. Qualifications

• Must hold current AGSVA NV-1 clearance.
• Must hold NSW State Based Security Licence with Class 1E Monitoring.

• Excellent observational skills.
• Experience with basic PC tasks (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Respond to security incidents as dispatched.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols of the facility.
• Prepare incident reports.
• Act as incident commander until supervisor arrives.
• Escort datacenter guests as needed.
• Monitor cameras in the SOC.
• Identify security shortfalls and suggest improvements.
• Maintain logs and records per SOP.
• Notify supervisor of unsafe conditions.
• Greet visitors and employees and assist as required.

Security Responders are the first point of contact for visitors and contractors, you’ll be the face of security-combining vigilance with exceptional customer service to create a safe and professional environment.

Job Location: Seven Hills

Fulltime Day Shifts - 0545-1800
Fulltime Night Shifts - 1745-0600

The Security Responder will be responsible for the following duties:

• Respond to security incidents as dispatched within designated tier times.
• Conducts patrols of the interior and exterior of the datacenter facility.
• Prepares reports on a surface book device on incidents responded to during shift.
• Serves as Incident Commander pending arrival of security supervisor, or member of a public service
• agency police or fire.
• Serves as an escort for datacenter guests requiring individual escorts through the facility.
• Monitors cameras in the Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Identifies security shortfalls and offers suggestions from improving the security program.
• Maintains logs and records in accordance with the Datacenter Standard Operations Procedure (SOP).
• Evaluates and escalates potential safety issues within the facility.
• Required to know and follow safe work practices, and to be aware of company policies and procedures
• related to job safety, including safety rules and regulations. Notify supervisor upon becoming aware of
• unsafe working conditions.
• Identifies security shortfalls and offers suggestions from improving the security program.

Skills and Experience

• Must have current AGSVA NV-1 clearance and current State Based NSW Security Licence with Class 1E Monitoring
• Customer service experience is essential
• Conflict resolution and negation skills required
• Must be punctual and responsible
• Exceptional customer service standards
• Basic to Intermediate PC skills (MS Suite)
• Compliance of all relevant company policies and procedures
• Protection of premises occupants, protection of real and personal property
• Report writing and Site patrol duties
• Greet visitors and employees and assist as required
• Excellent observational skills
• Lead by example – support a safety and compliance culture
