Job summary

Securitas Australia is actively seeking Security Responders to join the NSW team. You’ll be the face of security, managing access control for a data centre, monitoring the SOC, and delivering vigilant, professional customer service to every visitor and contractor.

You must hold AGSVA NV-1 clearance and NSW Class 1E Monitoring licence. The role covers day and night full-time shifts, with duties including patrols, incident reporting, escorting guests, and rapid response to incidents.

Qualifications

• Must have current AGSVA NV-1 clearance and NSW Security Licence Class 1E Monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Customer service experience is essential.
• Conflict resolution and negation skills required.
• Must be punctual and responsible.
• Strong multi-tasking abilities.

• Basic to Intermediate PC skills (MS Suite).
• Protection of premises occupants, protection of real and personal property.
• Report writing and Site patrol duties.

• Lead by example – support a safety and compliance culture.

Responsibilities

• Identifies security shortfalls and offers suggestions from improving the security program.
• Maintains logs and records in accordance with the Datacenter Standard Operations Procedure (SOP).
• Evaluates and escalates potential safety issues within the facility.
• Required to know and follow safe work practices, and to be aware of company policies and procedures
• related to job safety, including safety rules and regulations. Notify supervisor upon becoming aware of
• unsafe working conditions.
• Identifies security shortfalls and offers suggestions from improving the security program.

Job Description

Our Security team is entrusted with maintaining the highest standards of data integrity for our client. Security Responders are the first point of contact for visitors and contractors, you’ll be the face of security‑combining vigilance with exceptional customer service to create a safe and professional environment.

Job Location: Seven Hills

Fulltime Day Shifts - 0545-1800, Fulltime Night Shifts - 1745-0600
