Job summary

Executive Risk Solutions (ERS) is seeking skilled Security Officers to join our team supporting clients across the Perth metro area.

ERS Officers will ensure safety and customer service, perform access control, monitor alarms, and liaise with police and emergency services when required while maintaining clear records and staying calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• Certificate II in Security Operations is required.
• Valid WA Security Licence and ID.
• Current First Aid Certificate and CPR within 12 months.
• Current National Police Clearance (≤ 6 months old).
• Current unrestricted Manual Drivers Licence.
• Current Working With Children (WWC) card or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Attend to client and visitor needs with exceptional customer service.
• Focus on early identification of potential disturbances with the view to de-escalate and contain potential incidents.
• Monitor security and alarm systems on a regular basis.
• Perform access control.
• Maintain records and registers relevant to security and running of building.
• Show resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Liaise and assist police and emergency services when required.
• Demonstrate competence in spoken and written English.

The Opportunity

At Executive Risk Solutions (ERS), we’re looking for skilled and experienced Security Officers to join our team supporting various clients across Perth metro areas.

As an ERS Security Officer, you will possess a strong understanding of security standards, regulations and laws. We also need you to be aware of the sensitivity to cultural differences and demonstrate teamwork when working with our clients, stakeholders, visitors and staff.

You will be required (but not limited) to:

• Attend to client and visitor needs with exceptional customer service
• Focus on early identification of potential disturbances with the view to de-escalate and contain potential incidents
• Monitor security and alarm systems on a regular basis

Eligibility for the role
