Job summary

MSS Security is seeking a Full-Time Security Officer - Mobile Patrol to join our team at a mining site in Mount Isa. You will conduct mobile patrols, respond to incidents, and help maintain a secure site for people and property.

Local applicants are encouraged to apply; relocation is available with flights and two weeks of paid accommodation. The position offers an attractive 105k annual package.

Qualifications

• Full Australian Working rights.
• Valid QLD driver's licence.
• Valid QLD Security Licence – unarmed.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain).
• Availability to work 12 hours shifts (day and night).

Responsibilities

• Conduct mobile patrols and occasional foot patrols across designated areas of the mining site.
• Perform lock-up and unlock procedures.
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorised access and potential security threats.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance.
• Complete accurate and detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation.

About the Role
