Certis Security Australia is seeking professional Security Officers to support a high-profile government services site in Bundaberg, Queensland. This casual frontline role emphasizes professionalism, customer service, and strict adherence to site procedures.

Shifts are Monday to Friday during business hours with no nights or weekends. You will manage access, assist visitors, conduct security checks, and respond to incidents while delivering a respectful, safe environment.

We are seeking professional Security Officers to support a high-profile government services site in Bundaberg, Queensland. This is a frontline role where professionalism, composure and customer service excellence are essential in maintaining a safe and secure public-facing environment.

About the Role

The security team at this site plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, comfort and confidence of the community accessing government services.

As the first point of contact for visitors and staff, you will set the tone, delivering a welcoming, respectful and professional experience while maintaining strict adherence to site procedures and security protocols.

This is a highly customer-focused role requiring strong communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to confidently manage difficult or sensitive situations. You will be responsible for maintaining site security while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

This is a casual opportunity offering flexibility, with shifts primarily available Monday to Friday during business operating hours.

Key Responsibilities

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

• Ability to work independently and follow site procedures
• Flexible availability and reliability
• Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced or sensitive environments

Mandatory Requirements

• Current QLD Security Licence (Unarmed and Crowd Control)
• Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
• Unlimited working rights in Australia
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check
