Job summary

Jones Xl is seeking a security professional to perform shopping centre duties including access control, patrolling, alarm response, and after-hours emergencies as part of a dedicated team.

Candidates must have a valid Australian security license, current first aid and CPR, and a driver’s license. Flexible to work shifts including weekends and holidays is required, with excellent presentation and communication skills and the ability to work in a team or independently.

Qualifications

• Must have valid working rights in Australia.
• Must hold current security license for the state of employment.
• Must have First aid certificate and CPR.
• Must hold a current motor vehicle driver's license (not international).
• Able to work shift rosters including weekends and public holidays.
• Must have good presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and unsupervised when required.

• Security shopping duties and access control.
• Patrolling large shopping centre as part of a team.
• Alarm response for maintenance alarms.
• After hours emergency response.
• Receiving goods inwards and vehicle/traffic management.
• Additional duties per client SOP.

Job description

Security shopping duties, access control, patrolling large shopping centre as part of a great team ensuring a safe shopping experience, key control, alarm response for various maintenance alarms, after hours emergency response, receiving goods inwards, vehicle and traffic management control plus additional duties contained in the client SOP.

Skills and Experience

Candidates please note, if you do not have the essential criteria your application will not be considered – You must have the following qualifications – current working rights to work in Australia, current appropriate class security license for the State of employment. Current first aid certificate and CPR, current State applicable motor vehicle driver’s license (NOT an International License), an ability to work shift rosters including weekends and public holidays and have a level of physical fitness to be able to safely complete the duties expected. Excellent presentation and communication skills. An ability to both work well within the team environment and able to work unsupervised is an advantage.
